Landa online short courses lead to a digital badge or a certificate of completion, attendance or participation by the facilitating university. Your employees earn badges and certificates only after courses are successfully completed, depending on applicable credentials to the courses. The courses do not carry any credits towards a university degree or diploma qualification but may be endorsed by certain professional bodies, and/or may contribute towards one’s Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points, Continuing Education Units (CEU), Professional Development Units (PDU), or other similar learning units as detailed on the respective course pages. Our courses will certainly empower your leaders and employees with skills to remain confident, competent, and relevant in the workplace.

Are our certificates internationally recognized?

The courses and certificates are presented and approved by leading, internationally recognized universities and institutions in collaboration with Landa. Awarded certificates on Landa are as recognized and credible as the issuing university or institution.

Can you track the progress of your employees?

Finance & Funding
How can you make payment?

You can pay online via our secure payment gateway which supports both Visa, Mastercard and Verve backed transactions. For transfers or direct deposits, banking details can be found on your invoice once you've completed your registration. You may contact an Account Manager or send an email to payments@landalearn.com to discuss your payment options.

How do you begin learning?

You can begin learning by logging into your account on our Virtual Learning Campus (VLC) and access your course materials. If you have any problems with accessing our VLC, please contact our support team via your Landa account.

What are the payment options for businesses?

You can pay your course fees in full to register or before the course starts, or opt for a part payment plan if such option is available on your course. If you choose to pay your course fees via the part payment plan, you will receive additional terms and information about the applicable plan when you register for your course. Please note that LandaFlex requires only full payment.

A key payment option designed for businesses to allow flexibility and budget consideration is the purchase of tokens for employees. Tokens are credits that can be purchased at any time and redeemed towards courses for employees to ensure that the business can plan ahead for its training budget. You may contact an Account Manager or send an email to payments@landalearn.com to discuss for more details.

How do we confirm that we have received your payment?

Businesses are encouraged to use our payment gateways as confirmation of payments is instant via email. Payments made via direct deposit, electronic funds transfer or wire instruction may take anything up to five (5) days to reflect in our account, leading to a longer confirmation period. You will receive a payment receipt via email from our finance team once deposit, transfer, or wire instruction is confirmed.

Do we offer scholarships or any form of funding to businesses?

Currently, we do not offer scholarships or any form of funding. Alternatively, we offer group discounts for 12 learners and above, and a 2-part payment installment plan. You may contact an Account Manager or send an email to payments@landalearn.com for more details.

Are you able to change your payment plan after paying your first installment?

Unfortunately, once payment is received and allotted to your corporate account, we are unable to change the payment plan.

You have tried to make payment through the online payment portal, however, you received an error message. How do you resolve this?

Please ensure that all information entered when making the payment is complete and accurate. If you have accurately filled the required information and the error message persists, we suggest that you contact your bank to authorize the payment. If you are unsure of something within the payment process, please send an email to payments@landalearn.com.

What is our cancellation and refund policy?

We do not consider group cancellation and refund requests once courses have been paid for. However, businesses can cancel and seek refunds on behalf of individual learners. Due to group considerations, for learners with the standard option, businesses can request cancellations only within 14 calendar days from registration which guarantees a partial refund of 50% of the course fee. You will not be entitled to any refund after the first 14 calendar days of the course registration.

Learners with the LandaFlex option can request cancellations and are entitled to a partial refund of 50% of the course fee as long as they have not covered more than 20% of their coursework.

Requests for refunds will not be considered after learners have successfully applied for course postponement. For more information, please contact your dedicated Account Manager.

You have completed your cancellation form, when will you receive your refund?

Generally, the turnaround time for refunds is seven (7) working days once we receive confirmation of banking details and all necessary documentation from you.

Can you partner with us?

Certainly! Let us know what you have in mind by speaking to an Account Manager or sending an email to partnerships@landalearn.com.

For Universities

Partnering your university for impact and scale.

What do we offer your university?

We provide Open Learning-as-a-Service (OLaaS) and the technical support you need to effectively run an online system for your academic content and delivery. Beyond the technology, we also provide marketing, sales and support systems to help you make the most of (and from) your new 100% online program.

How can Landa help your university right now?

We can do that with a single technology and administrative infrastructure that will support both online and on-campus instruction. This is not only efficient and resilient, it puts great tools in the hands of every student and lecturer.

Why don’t you just build your Learning Management System (LMS) and other online tools yourself?

We do not advise it, even though we are certain we can provide a better program more quickly than you can build alone. Our partners agree that we add value long after a program is launched. Our ongoing research, tech infrastructure, marketing and sales experience, support team, and the network of schools we are building with position us to provide the most intuitive and effective tools needed for ultra-successful online programs today.

How many students and staff can our technology and support system cater for?

Any number! However, we typically will recommend engaging with a minimum of 5000 students to fully enjoy the economies of scale and reduced cost across the board. Click here to schedule a call with one of our managers who can guide you with answers and provide other specifics.

What technologies does Landa invest in?

We are investing in two areas: first, we provide tech that connects a variety of products into an increasingly seamless and collaborative experience for students and faculty. Second, we are building an administrative platform that securely allows us to co-manage every part of the marketing, recruiting, and support for students with our partner universities and institutions.

How much will this cost your university?

We recommend that you click here to schedule a meeting with one of our managers who will need to understand the problem you are trying to solve and our most effective package designed for it. A quote will then be shared with you.

How are payments made?

Our payment plans are designed to be considerate, affordable and value-focused. Depending on what the problem is and its scale, we present several payment plans including installments, post-paid options and subscription-based financing.

Is there an extra reason you should work with us?

An African company with global roots, we are committed to building the future of education for Africa with you. Like you, we know the importance of delivering quality programs to more students for rapid national and continental transformations which is why all our decisions and actions are mission-driven and focused on how our collaborations can accelerate Africa’s growth.

What is Landa’s incentive?

We are incentivized to grow enrollments to a healthy scale, and to operate with effectiveness, transparency and flexibility.

What do we look for in a partner university?

We are deliberate about identifying schools and programs that: Have a solid regional or national reputation, are willing to grow it by offering online and agile programs in areas of strength like STEM and Business, at a price students are willing to pay, and have faculty buy-in to raise capacity and explore a new medium.

What is in it for you if you refer new learners to Landa?

You will get between 5% - 10% worth of benefits of your referred learner’s payment, when your referral code is confirmed alongside the payment for a program. This applies only when you refer new learners who have not used Landa before.

How can you contact us?
When can you reach us?

Without a huge investment in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education, Africa’s development will continue to be impeded. Indeed, given the complexity facing the developing world, economic growth, and improvements in the standard of living will continue to rely on innovations and technological breakthroughs.
